Our Mission:
Through excellent customer service, integrity, and professionalism, our mission is for our staff to provide best-in-class services aimed at enhancing event management while maximizing the fan experience.
KIRA Event Services (under the KIRA Aerospace, LLC subsidiary) was formed in 2019 when THTBC was awarded the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Intercollegiate and Special Event Services Contract. This five-year contract requires that we staff and provide home event support for the USAFA Athletic Department's athletic events (Football, Ice Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball, etc.) as well as other major Special Events on base (Graduation, Parades, Receptions, etc.). During each event season, we can expect to support over 130 different home events. Our staff are trained to cover a wide variety of support roles, including parking and traffic management, entry screening, ushering, security, and VIP space management.
In 2021, KIRA Event Services was awarded a second USAFA Event Contract – Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). The mission of AFAAC is to support the Air Force Athletic Department's mission of producing leaders of character for our Nation by generating the necessary revenue to support Air Force Intercollegiate Athletics and promote the Air Force Academy to the Nation through athletics. We support up to 20 events on this contract each event season; some of these annual events include Adrenaline Lacrosse, Colorado Bandmaster Championship, and District 20 Graduations. Notable one-off events supported include the NHL Stadium Series in 2020 and security for a week of closed practices for the San Francisco 49ers.
In 2024, KIRA Event Services was awarded the next five year contract for USAFA Intercollegiate and Special Events. We continue to grow as an organization and find new ways to ensure we are providing the best customer service and support we possibly can.
