We typically hold two hiring periods a year:
Pre-Graduation Hires: March-April
​Pre-Football Hires: June-July
​
This gives us a two month span to schedule interviews, onboard new staff, and conduct training prior to our largest events of the season.

Quick Facts about This Role
Our Event Staff assist with event operations at USAFA, covering 130+ events each season! We train our staff to be prepared to work in a variety of assignments, including parking and traffic management, entry screening, ushering, security, and VIP space management.

Some of the most important expectations of Event Staff include:

​Ability to work ALL USAFA home football games (average of 6 per season from Labor Day Weekend through Thanksgiving)

Ability to positively represent KIRA/THTBC and the United States Air Force Academy

Ability to provide exceptional customer service to all fans, guests, and staff

Ability to be trained and work in any of the above assigned areas as needed

Ability to work in all types of weather (USAFA does not cancel events due to weather, so we are expected to be onsite regardless of heat/cold/snow/rain/etc.)

Ability to stand for the duration of each shift

Ability to work in loud environments

Ability to work odd hours, typically evenings, weekends, and holidays

Understanding that this is part-time seasonal work, NOT guaranteed part-time hours

Ability to communicate via email and utilize software for scheduling
